Description
Serving as CRBN’s first standard shaped “Gen-4” paddle, the TruFoam Genesis 2 Pickleball Paddle and the other two paddles in the line (Genesis 1, Genesis 3) bring pickleball into the next generation with the introduction of the TruFoam core. This core replaces the time-consuming break in period and annoying crush of a polypropylene honeycomb core and leans on a durable, high-density foam core instead. This new technology is easy to tweak from a performance standpoint, so that the balance point, pop, plow through sweet spot, and soft feel can all be perfected without changing the thickness of the core.
With this new core technology, the 16” CRBN TF Genesis 2 Pickleball Paddle provides a familiar standard shape and more power than the X-Series but is designed to help enhance every aspect of our game, rather than just bolstering power. Unsurprisingly, this balanced performance is made possible by how the TruFoam core interacts with the 7.85” wide T700 Raw Carbon hitting surface. Sure, the surface is as rigid and naturally textured as it has always been, but it now works with the new core to provide tennis racquet-like response that helps add dwell time and rpms for some of the most crisp and dialed control shots we have ever been able to hit. The 5.25” long handle completes this anything-but-standard package by keeping our hand close to the sweet spot and ready to reload.
